Loryn is the founder of LC Special Events and a Certified Event Coordinator through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada.  Her love of people and passion for planning inspired Loryn to turn her dream into a reality by starting her own company in 2009.  She has over 13 years experience in the event industry and has worked with creative and inspiring industry professionals.  After graduating from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Arts, she went on to gain valuable experience working at Angus Glen, Eagles Nest, Coppinwood and Ladies' Golf Club of Toronto. 

Loryn is known for her creative flair, attention to detail and positive attitude.  These attributes are complimented by her great sense of style and extensive knowledge of industry trends, from ultra elegant to shabby chic.  Her logistical expertise allows her to effectively manage budgets and timelines, while also being proactive in dealing with any issues that may arise.  Loryn's custom event itinerary is exceptionally detailed and ensures that your day is well organized.  She has had the pleasure of working with fabulous local event vendors who specialize in flowers, music, food, cakes and photography, just to name a few.  ​Loryn's dedication and diverse experience guarantee that

Maggie has been an integral part of LC Special Events since 2010. She is the definition of efficient and validates the saying “good things come in small packages”.  Maggie has worked in the event industry for over a decade and graduated from Seneca College with a Degree in Hospitality Management.

Maggie thrives on creating unforgettable memories for her clients and their guests. Her upbeat and outgoing personality is contagious; Clients and venue staff alike can’t say enough about how much they enjoy working with Maggie. In addition to her exceptional social skills, she is committed, reliable and a professional multi-tasker. Her tactical approach to event execution ensures your celebration is flawless from beginning to end. Maggie is always on point with the latest trends, from fashion to social media and beyond.
